Take the road Corniche and its beautiful banks of the estuary to reach Bourg sur Gironde, a beautiful city built on a rocky peak, with ramparts, the castle of the Citadel, narrow streets and picturesque down to the port. Discover also Blaye and its Citadel Vauban of the XVIIth century, classified UNESCO. Boat tours around the Estuary Islands are organized from the port of Blaye. Embark on the Bac "Sébastien Vauban" to join the Médoc (in 15 minutes), the prestigious wine castles and the ocean beaches of Soulac, Hourtin and Lacanau. By taking the coastal road at the edge of the estuary, join Royan and the beaches of Meschers and Saint Georges de Didonne. Visit also the vineyards of Cognac 35 minutes from our house.
Plassac, a Gallo Roman city
Our building is located in the heart of the village of Plassac. An old village classified with its Gallo-Roman Villa dating from the 2nd century. Visit the museum of the Gallo-Roman Villa to understand everything about this exceptional ancient site.
Discover the fabulous sunsets from the Belvedere of the Virgin of Plassac which offers an exceptional panorama of the Gironde Estuary.
Many mountain biking and hiking trails are possible from Plassac including the Way of Saint Jacques de Compostela through the village. Possibility of playing tennis on the courts of the town.
